Esker Readymix as it is known now, first began business in 1950 by James Cannon, initially selling sand, gravel and filling.  In 1988 the company went into the manufacturing of readymix concrete and by 1992 into the manufacturing of concrete blocks.  In 1999 Esker Readymix started Limestone quarrying and has further grown in the readymix concrete, blocks and stone business.

Esker Readymix is producing and supplying readymix concrete since 1988.  It is an Athenry based company that employs 25 plus personnel and supplies to builders for agricultural, commercial, housing and government infrastructural projects.

Esker Readymix prides its success on being a dynamic and versatile company that has changed through the years by investing it resources and time in its customers needs with good service and good quality products.
